Abdoulaye Touré

is Research Director of the Institut Fondamental dʼAfrique Noire at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal. He received his doctorate in modern history and subsequently worked as a high school teacher and educational consultant. He later directed the historical museum Musée historique du Sénégal à Gorée. He has published several articles and books in the fields of social sciences and museum studies.
