How many languages does Berlin speak? Six international poets living in the city explore the linguistic spaces of very different locations in a series of wandering readings. In three short rounds, each featuring two poets, the audience gets a glimpse into the diversity of Berlin’s poetry scene and can discover how a research center, a bookshop, and the rehearsal stage of the Berliner Festspiele shape their performance. Translations will be available for poems read in languages other than German or English.
In cooperation with the Leibniz Center for Literary and Cultural Research (ZfL), the bookshop Bookinista, the Berliner Festspiele, and the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program.
