Omar Musa & Mariel Roberts Musa: Just the Two of Us

Performance

What does it take to collaborate in life and art? Poet Omar Musa and cellist Mariel Roberts Musa create and perform together, each shaped by the other’s art, both excelling in their respective fields. How does a poet hear music, how does a musician hear poetry? Drawing on memories of listening to each other, they explore where language and sound converge in a performance followed by a conversation. «Individually (they are) stunning; together they are truly magical» (ArtsHub).

The Curator in Residence Program is made possible by the LOTTO-Stiftung Berlin.
