Henna Laininen studied arts, literature and creative writing in Finland. She was awarded several prizes for her texts, including the Lassi Nummi Price (2004) and the J.H. Erkko Price for the best début (2005). Her poetry has been published in various Finnish literary periodicals and anthologies.
