Dinçer Güçyeter was awarded the 2023 Leipzig Book Fair Prize for his autofictional novel with poetic, often mythical imagery, that tells the intergenerational story of a Turkish immigrant family. The poetry collection »Mein Prinz, ich bin das Ghetto« [tr: My Prince, I Am the Ghetto] by the 2022 Peter Huchel Prize winner for poetry is also dedicated to the search for the roots of one’s own origins and the web of family ties. The author will present his poetry in prose thorugh reading and discussion.
