Uno accompanies his father to the hospital to visit Roffe, his father’s favorite stepfather, who is dying. At first, it’s very boring, since Roffe is always asleep. But then Uno meets Jenka, whose grandmother is staying on the same ward. Before long, the palliative care unit becomes a place to play and share candy – until Jenka suddenly stops coming. Will Uno be able to find her again? With great humor, this children’s book skillfully captures a child’s perspective on death, friendship, and the adult world.
