Elin Lindell is a Swedish author and illustrator of children’s and young adult books. She began her career as a journalist at the magazine »Kamratposten«, where she continues to work as an illustrator. She has written and illustrated more than 25 books. Her debut was a major success in Sweden and received the Carl von Linné Plaque in 2007. In 2024, »Världens sämsta syster« received the Nils Holgersson Plaque, followed by a nomination for the August Prize in 2025. Elin Lindell lives in Stockholm.
