Survivors of the sea flee to an island and build a new community there, beyond origin and embedded power. For the music theatre piece «Sunville», Fiston Mwanza Mujila wrote the texts and Sofia Jernberg the music. Together they give an exclusive preview before their premiere at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Between Afrofuturism and spiritual jazz, the evening asks a simple question: How do we want to live?
