Aberleben

A 70-­year-­old writer suffering from cancer leaves his wife and Switzerland to write a new book in Berlin. In it, he wants to give new life to a character he let die in his previous novel. In his new novel, author Adolf Muschg, who was awarded the Swiss Grand Prix for Literature for his life’s work, pits life against art and exposes man’s perpetual self­deception and feebleness in the face of his inventions.
