Tobias Deschner

has been the head of the Behavioral Endocrinology Lab in the Department of Primatology at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig since 2005. In the context of his doctoral work, he spent years conducting field research in Taï National Park in Ivory Coast. Since 2014 Deschner leads as well a research project on chimpanzees in the Loango Nationalpark, Gabon. The results of his research have been published in over fifty articles in scientific journals.
