Robert Fitzgerald Reid-Pharr
is Professor of Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality at Harvard University. Previously, he taught English and American Studies at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He has published four books on African American culture, race studies, and sexuality studies and has received numerous grants for his research and publication projects, including fellowships at the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, the Radcliffe Institute, and the American Academy in Berlin.
