Biography
born in 1974. Studied at Cambridge University and the Architectural Association London. In 2009, he earned his doctorate with a thesis on how refugee camps turn into cities. A founding member of the architectural research group Urban Catalyst, he explores issues of the use of fallow areas and has advised the United Nations. Since 2013, Misselwitz has been Professor for International City Planning and Design at the Technical University Berlin.
