Philipp Hübl

born in 1975 in Hanover, studied philosophy and linguistics in Berlin, Berkeley, New York, and Oxford. Until 2018, he was junior professor for theoretical philosophy at the University of Stuttgart. In 2015, he published »Der Untergrund des Denkens« (tr: The Foundations of Thought. A Philosophy of the Unconscious), in which he unmasks the myth of the power of the intuition and shows how reason and focused attention can protect us from manipulation. Hübl lives in Berlin.
