Petra Ritter

born in 1974, is Head of the Section Brain Simulation at the Charité in Berlin. Sie initiated the neuroinformatics platform »The Virtual Brain«, which aims at generating personalized simulation models that enable a better understanding of neurological disorders and innovative therapy approaches. Besides medical applications, the gathered research data within the Human Brain Project will help foster the development of innovative supercomputers that mimic the architecture of the brain.
