Biography
born in Würzburg in 1974; studied political science in Belfast and Berlin. He received a PhD in war studies from King’s College London, where he is currently professor of security studies and where he was the director of the International Centre for the Study of Radicalization from 2008 until 2018. He is an expert on Islamist terror, and most recently published »Bluster: Donald Trump’s War on Terror« (2019).
