Natan Sznaider

Natan Sznaider was born near Mannheim, Germany, in 1954, and has lived in Israel since 1974.  He is Professor of Sociology at the Academic College in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. In ‘Erinnerung im globalen Zeitalter: Der Holocaust’ (2001) he pursues the question, together with the sociologist Daniel Levy, as to what extent the Holocaust has gone from being a national to a global memory.
