Muckemacher

Muckemacher consists of musicians and composers Verena Roth and Florian Erlbeck—both of whom have made Berlin their home. Their themes draw inspiration from the schoolyard and the street, centering on fun, chocolate, and friends. Muckemacher succeeds in translating all of this into danceable music that stands apart from the mainstream. Their wild blend of Latin American and Caribbean rhythms is unique within the scene. “We wanted to record children’s music that doesn’t immediately sound like children’s music upon the first listen, but appeals to adults as well. It’s danceable—music you can groove and sing along to—featuring a high level of technical skill and sophisticated production; it’s analog and has a bit of an old-school vibe.”
