Michael Bienert

born in 1964, has been known for his numerous books on Berlin’s literary and cultural history since the 1990s. He also worked as a columnist, theater critic, and Berlin cultural correspondent for both regional and national newspapers. He was a lecturer at the Center for Metropolitan Studies at the Technical University of Berlin from 2015 until 2017. He has curated numerous events and gives lectures on cultural history, literature, and architecture at home and abroad.
