Michael Kimmelman

born in Greenwich Village/New York City, he studied History at Yale and Art History at Harvard. A concert pianist, he was once a music critic and later switched to art. Today he is among the most famous art critics in the world and is chief art critic at the »New York Times« and also a columnist writing about cultural and social affairs in Europe and elsewhere. In addition he works for the »New York Review of Books«. Currently Kimmelman lives with his family in Berlin.
