Martin Amanshauser was born in Salzburg in 1968, and now lives in Vienna. The author, journalist and translator has been awarded with several prizes, including the Georg Trakl-Förderungspreis für Lyrik (1992) and the Staatsstipendium für Literatur (1996/97). His poems “Hunderttausend verkaufte Exemplare” was very successful (e. g. at the ilb SLAM! Revue 2002). He has also published “in der todesstunde von alfons alfred schmidt” (2000), “Chicken Christl” (2004).
