Biography
was born in Hamburg in 1976. Today he lives and works as a playwright and novelist in Berlin. After training as a church musician, he studied at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig and at the University of Reykjavik. He also works as an Icelandic translator. His theatrical comedy »Männerhort« (2002; t: Mangarten) had its première in Bonn in 2003 and has been translated into several languages. He was awarded the Hamburg Literature Sponsorship Prize and the Rauris Literature Prize for his début novel, Zuhause« (2005; t: Home).
