Klaus M. Beier

born in 1961, is a specialist in psychosomatic medicine, a psychoanalyst, and director of the Institute of Sexology and Sexual Medicine at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. He studied medicine and philosophy and worked as a scientific assistant and private lecturer. He is involved in the preventive therapy of pedophilically inclined men and founded the research project »Kein Täter werden« (Don’t offend). He was awarded the Cross of Merit of the Order of Merit of the FRG.
