Karl Olsberg

born in 1960 in Bielefeld, earned a PhD focusing on expert systems and artificial intelligence, founded several prizewinning start-ups, and authored more than 40 young adult books as well as techno-thrillers dealing with contemporary phenomena of accelerated progress. Frequently, his works such as »Rafael 2.0« (2011), »Delete« (2013), »Mirror« (2016) or »Boy in a White Room« (2017) revolve around data networks, virtual realities and self-learning programs. He lives in Hamburg.
