Juliana Kálnay

born in Hamburg in 1988, grew up in Cologne and Málaga. She returned to Germany to study creative writing and cultural journalism in Hildesheim. She then moved to Kiel for a traineeship at the Literaturhaus Schleswig-Holstein. Her work has been published in German- and Spanish-language anthologies. In 2017, she released her debut novel »Eine kurze Chronik des allmählichen Verschwindens« (tr. A short history of gradually disappearing). Kálnay is an LCB residence scholarship recipient.
