Charis Goer

born in 1971, is a German literary scholar. She studied German, English, education, and musicology in Paderborn (Germany) and at Western Michigan University (USA) and has taught at the universities of Paderborn and Bielefeld. Since 2016, she is Assistant Professor for German Literature and Culture at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. Her research interests include, among other subjects, intermediality, popular culture, and interculturality.
