Gabriele Leupold

born in 1954, she studied Slavic and German Studies. After her graduate studies at the University of Konstanz and a research stay in Moscow, she taught German as a foreign language and worked in a gallery. Since the 1980s she has mainly translated from the Russian language and has been recognized on numerous occasions for her translation work. She leads workshops for students and translators.
