Franz Josef Röll

born in 1949, studied sociology as well as extracurricular pedagogy and adult education. Picking up on his many years of experience in youth education, his research approach as a professor at Darmstadt University is based on examining the resources and activities of the new media in order to highlight their risks and opportunities. In his work, Röll is interested above all in the potentials for self-determined learning in the digital society.
