Frank Heibert

born in 1960 in Essen. Studied Romance Languages and German at the Freie Universität Berlin, and published his PHD »Word play as a stylistic device and its translation, with seven translations of James Joyce’s ›Ulysses‹ as examples« in 1993. Cofounder and head of the publishing house zebra literaturverlag. Many translations from English (DeLillo, R. Ford, Faulkner and many more) and Romance languages. In 2006, he published a novel, »Kombizangen« (tr. Combination pliers).
