Geoffroy de Lagasnerie

born in 1982, is a French philosopher and sociologist. He teaches as a professor at the École nationale supérieure dʼarts de Paris Cergy. Together with the sociologist Didier Eribon and the writer Édouard Louis, he belongs to a circle of Parisian intellectuals who are consistently involved in political issues in the French public sphere. He is editor of the series »à venir« at the French publishing house Fayard and blogs for »Mediapart«.
