is Professor of Contemporary Archaeology at Oxford University and Curator of World Archaeology at the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford. His work focuses on the material and visual culture of the modern (post)colonial world and the history of archaeology and anthropology. He is currently engaged in the politics of European museum collections and the material culture of contemporary migration.
