Biography
born in 1962, is a German historian. Kopper studied modern history, economics and political science in Frankfurt am Main and Bochum. Having spent five years in the USA with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), he returned to Germany to work at the University of Bielefeld in 2003, where he has been an adjunct professor since 2012. One of his main areas of interest is contemporary German economic history, in particular the National Socialist and post-war era.
