Christine Chemnitz

studied agriculture in Göttingen and Berlin, where she earned her PhD at the Humboldt-Universität. She has worked as an international agriculture policy advisor at the Heinrich Böll Foundation since 2007. Her work focuses on sustainable agriculture, industrial livestock farming, and food consumption. She is the head of the annual publication »Fleischatlas« (tr: Meat Atlas), a report that shows tools and strategies for how to improve animal agriculture. Chemnitz lives in Berlin.
