Christiane Grefe

Christiane Grefe, born in Lüdenscheid in 1957, is a journalist and author focusing on ecological and social issues. She has been an editor and reporter for »Die Zeit« since 1999. She was awarded The Political Book award by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation for her book on the future of globalization, »The Global Countdown« (2008). In »Global Gardening« (2016) she poses the question: »Bioeconomy – new exploitation or future economic system?«
