Christian Filips

born in 1981 in Worms, studied philosophy in Vienna and Berlin. He is a freelance writer and translator as well as a director, musical dramaturge and performer. His literary works have received numerous awards, including the 2012 Heimrad-Bäcker-Förderpreis for experimental poetry. Since 2010, Filips and Urs Engeler have edited roughbooks, a series of contemporary poetry collections.
