born in 1966 in Paris, is an author, computer engineer, lecturer, critic and columnist at »Le Monde diplomatique«. Her oeuvre ranges from speculative fiction, fantasy, young adult literature to social and historical commentary. As a co-founder of the sci-fi collective Zanzibar, she establishes creative dialogues concerning manifold facettes of future scenarios. For her genre-bending novel »Entends la nuit« (2018; tr: Listen to the night) she was awarded the Prix Masterton (2019).
