Ayşe Klinge is a German illustrator and comic artist. She studied set and costume design in Berlin before going on to study illustration at HAW Hamburg. She has illustrated children’s books for Fischer Sauerländer and nonfiction titles for Jacoby & Stuart, among others. Her artistic work is closely tied to her activism against racism. Her comic debut, »Der Zahn« (2025), was nominated for the German Children’s Literature Award 2026 and received the Kranichsteiner Childrend’s and Youth Literature Scholarship. Ayşe Klinge lives in Hamburg.
