Ayman Sikseck

born in 1984 to a Palestinian family in Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Israel, Sikseck studied comparative literature at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He writes columns for the daily »Haaretz,« among others. His novel »El Yafo« (2010, tr: To Jaffa) is a sober and in-depth examination of a young, Arab student torn between two worlds (in the form of a Jewish and an Arab girlfriend).
