Asha Hedayati is an attorney and mediator specializing in family law, as well as an author. She was born in Tehran and studied law at Humboldt University Berlin. She has practiced as an attorney since 2013, primarily representing women affected by violence in separation, divorce, and protection-order proceedings. Her work aims to make visible the injustices faced by marginalized groups and to expose the structural problem of violence against women. She is the author of «Die stille Gewalt. Wie der Staat Frauen alleinlässt » (2023, tr. The Silent Violence. How the State Abandons Women) and co-author of «Unlearn Patriarchy 2» (2024). Asha Hedayati lives in Berlin.
