Sandra Kegel is the editor in charge of the F.A.Z. arts and culture section, where she previously served for many years as a literary editor. She studied German and Romance languages and literature, among other subjects, in Aix-en-Provence, Vienna, and Frankfurt. She serves on several literary juries and is a member of the selection committee for the SWR-Bestenliste. Most recently, in 2022, she edited the volume «Prosaische Passionen» (tr. «Prose Passions»), published by Manesse. She has received the Ravensburger Media Prize and was a fellow at the Thomas Mann House in Los Angeles in 2025. Sandra Kegel lives in Frankfurt am Main.
