Sven Beck

*2002 in Frankfurt, was awarded for his short story »Großeltern« [Grandparents] at the Treffen junger Autor:innen in 2021. The story tells of forgetfulness and how to deal with it. He lives in Leipzig, where he rides his bike, enjoys cold drinks in the park, browses through bookstores, and studies literary writing. Previously, he worked as a journalist for the »Frankfurter Rundschau«, among others. In the future, he can well imagine becoming a teacher.
