Susanne Schüssler

born in Munich in 1962, studied German language and literature, communications, and publishing law, earning her doctorate in 1991. After a traineeship and student work at Hanser Verlag, she gained publishing experience in New York, Paris, and Cologne. Since 1991, she has worked at the Klaus Wagenbach publishing house, first as the person responsible for press relations, then as an editor, and since 2002 as publishing director. She is a member of the administrative board of VG WORT and the presidium of the Erich Fried Society, as well as the editor of numerous anthologies.
