In this festival year, our readings, workshops and, for the first time, a staged reading will take you through myths, fairy tales, emotional worlds – and all the way to Mars. We invite students from Berlin and Brandenburg to find their own access to these stories from September 15 – 24. For the 25th anniversary, we are also looking forward to contributions from young people: For the first time, there will be a poetry competition (link here to “Join in!”) on the festival motto for schoolchildren!
With 17 authors and illustrators, this year’s Young Program presents outstanding literary voices from international children’s and young adult literature. This year’s special: a staged reading of the DJLP-nominated book “Electricity and Sky Fish.”
