Poetic Coffee Break – Wolf Biermann

The literary estate of the singer-songwriter Wolf Biermann is part of the collections of the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin. Numerous objects from this collection will be on display from July 7, 2023 to January 14, 2024 in the special exhibition »Wolf Biermann. A Poet and Songwriter in Germany« at the German Historical Museum Berlin. To mark the occasion, the Staatsbibliothek is dedicating a Poetic Coffee Break to Wolf Biermann’s poetry and his international inspirations. Take time to listen to Biermann’s poetry being recited for half an hour and — if you like — read and recite it yourself.
