Dance workshop / Meet & Greet with Gary Lonesborough
Jackson spends his summer swimming, partying with friends, and avoiding the racist youths from town as best he can. His life is turned upside down when Tomas, who was recently released from pris-on, visits Jackson´s family. Something other than friendship quickly mixes into the feelings Jackson has for Tomas. Empathically, the story tells of coming-of-age and coming-out in the midst of an environment marked by bullying, homophobia, and racism.
What happens during the workshop?
The students approach the theme of the story through dance.
