Body language takes on a whole new meaning, when Tishani Doshi and Natsuko Kono take the stage. The poet joins Butoh dancer Kono to create space for language through movement. Indian poetry meets Japanese avant-garde, the ‹Dance of Darkness.› The body meets the spoken word, a performance unlike any other. Or as Doshi says: «There’s a shared vulnerability between poetry and dance, in putting yourself out there in the dark».
The Curator in Residence Program is made possible by the LOTTO-Stiftung Berlin.
With Tishani Doshi, Natsuko Kono
The event will be held in English.
