Reading With Picture-Book-Cinema and Live-Illustration
Two children set out just as the first signs of a storm begin to stir over their island. Together, they watch the sky grow darker, the wind pick up, and the waves turn wilder. Traffic lights swing on their cables, the streets are deserted – and then the downpour hits. As fast as they can, the children run back to the safety of their home. The next morning, they are greeted by sunshine. A masterful picture book that captures the power of nature through lively, rhythmic language and atmospheric illustrations.
