Terra Alta

Melchior Marín, the son of a prostitute and at home in Barcelona’s underworld, learns of his mother’s murder while in prison and resolves to turn his life around after his incarceration. Years later, he lives a quiet life as a policeman with his wife and child in the barren Terra Alta. When a business couple is brutally murdered and the crime remains unsolved, Melchior Marín sets out to investigate for himself.
