When the war reaches their town, a mother and father flee with their two children. Their car now becomes their new place to live and sleep. Despite the exhausting flight, a hopeful time begins for the children, in which laughter, play and adventure also have their place. The picture book, an encouraging celebration of children’s joie de vivre and resilience, impresses with its precise and resonant language as well as its extremely detailed and poetic pictures.

The events will take place as part of the special »Spotlight Spain« on the occasion of Spain’s guest country appearance at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2022.
