Winfred Kaminski

born in 1948, studied philosophy, German language & literature and education. As head of the Institute for Media Research at Cologne University of Applied Sciences, he looks primarily into computer games and their forms of utilisation. Together with Martin Lorber, Kaminski set up the event series »Clash of Realities« in 2006 with the aim of contributing towards international and interdisciplinary research into computer games and thus replacing preconceived ideas with well-founded knowledge.
