Tupoka Ogette is an author, consultant and trainer for critical race awareness work. She grew up in West Berlin as the daughter of a German mother and a Tanzanian father and has, since 2012, worked with individuals, teams and organizations to think and act critically about racism. Her handbook «exit RACISM. Rassismuskritisch denken lernen», published in 2017, became a SPIEGEL bestseller. In 2019, Edition F magazine named her one of the 25 most influential women of the year. Her very personal memoir «Trotzdem zuhause» (tr. «At Home Nonetheless») was most recently published by Penguin. Tupoka Ogette lives in Berlin.
